Dr. David Smith is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a subcertification in sports medicine. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He earned his degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at Michigan State University. He first became interested in sports medicine when he was 12. He was an avid runner, but his doctor told him to stop running when he began experiencing knee pain. Rather than give up the sport he loved, he became vigilant about injuries and proper training techniques. She earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Boston Medical Center and Children's Hospital.
