Schou, Kayli

Dr. Smith is board certified in family medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Genesis Education Foundation-University of Iowa after earning his medical degree at Southern Illinois University in Springfield. Dr. Smith has been practicing in St. Charles County since 2001 and has been with SSM since 2003. He has a special medical interest in geriatrics and adult preventative health.

Marisa Christopher, PA-C, is a physician assistant who specializes in gastroenterology for adult patients ages 18 and older. She evaluates and treats various gastrointestinal conditions and disorders on an outpatient basis, including liver disease, GERD, esophageal motility disorders, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), cirrhosis, primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diverticulitis, ileus, and hemorrhoids. She also sees patients who are experiencing certain troubling symptoms such as constipation, nausea, vomiting, blood in stool, and iron deficiency (anemia).

Kathleen 'Kate' Christlieb, PA-C, MMS, is a certified physician assistant who specializes in comprehensive urological care for patients ages 18 and older. She primarily focuses on the management of various urologic conditions, including kidney stones, recurrent bladder infections (UTI), symptoms of enlarged prostate, overactive bladder, incontinence, and erectile dysfunction. She also offers screenings for prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. Kate aims is to fully connect with her patients so she can better understand their urologic needs and desires for quality of life. Kate is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and a guest lecturer at Saint Louis University physician assistant program.
