Michelle Ohlsen, MSN, RN, BSB, CPNP-PC, is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner who provides pediatric care to children from birth to 18 years of age. Michelle Ohlsen, MSN, RN, BSB, CPNP-PC, is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner who provides pediatric care to children from birth to 18 years of age. She comes from a pediatric intensive care setting as a pediatric nurse at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and has over 7 years of experience as a pediatric nurse. Michelle is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, St. Louis Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners and a recipient of the 2018 Ambassador Choice Award.

I became a doctor because I wanted to not only treat patients but also teach them about disease and how to better care for themselves. The most important skill a primary care provider needs to have is the ability to connect with patients.
