Bootheel Counseling Services is a private, nonprofit organization that has been providing services in Southeast Missouri for over 30 years. Its clinical therapists provide outpatient counseling services to individuals in individual, family, couples and group sessions. The organization provides counseling for depression, anxiety, family and relationship issues, behavior, anger and grief management. It offers psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, community support, medication management and psychosocial rehabilitation services. Bootheel Counseling Services also offers Intensive Targeted Case Management services for children suffering from severe emotional disturbances. Additionally, the organization offers vocationally-oriented day treatment, recreational programs, and interpersonal and independent living skills training. Bootheel Counseling Services is located in Sikeston and has a branch in Bloomfield, Miss.

Community Counseling Center is a private, charitable, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit behavioral health organization. The Center is the Administrative Agent for the Missouri Department of Mental Health services within the southeastern Missouri counties.
