Since our inception in 1998, Arizona Environmental Recycling (AER) has been focused on the recycling and environmental needs of all Arizona citizens and businesses. We vigorously support Arizona's goals for a greener, cleaner environment that both current residents and future generations can enjoy.Our first recycling center in Phoenix was owned and operated by a fourth and fifth generation Arizona family. We expanded with the opening of three additional facilities over the next four years. In early 2003, we continued our mission to be Arizona's largest recycling resource by entering into an agreement to purchase and install 25 can cashier machines with plans to locate them throughout the greater Phoenix Metro area. In total, our facilities collect and ship a variety of recycling materials that average over 1.5 million pounds EVERY MONTH -- saving our valuable landfills from having to accept recyclable scrap metal and paper.
