The Franciscan Adult Day Center, founded in 1985, is a ministry of New Cassel Retirement Center. It offers support programs and assisted living services to patients suffering from stroke, depression, memory impairments and other aging frailties. The services offered by the center include pastoral and personal care, respite care, and assistance with bathing, grooming, eating, dressing and walking. It offers various recreational activities to patients, which includes support groups, regular outings and trips and health education. The amenities offered by the center include a theater room, library and a gift shop. The additional services offered by the center include scheduled transportation to physician appointments, shopping malls and grocery stores. The Franciscan Adult Day Center is located in Omaha, Neb.
