Based in Omaha, Neb., Peggy D. Cowdery Patient Care Center is a part of The Nebraska Medical Center and provides cancer treatment for patients. The center employs more than 30 physicians and registered nurses who provide assistance to the patients. It offers a wide variety of services, including chemotherapy, blood product administration, prescribning intravenous antibiotics and evaluation of problems. The patient care center also offers primary treatment, second opinions, investigational drug studies and organ transplantation services. It provides individualized instruction on chemotherapy treatments, and cancer and other diseases. Additionally, the patient care center provides scheduled classes on various patient care topics.
