Dr. Anna Trauernicht is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital since 2014. Her favorite part of being a physician is the ability to teach and educate families on the diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately resolve the problem for the child. Dr. Trauernicht received her medical degree from University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center. After her brother was diagnosed with a chronic GI issue at a young age, her goal was to do research and help find ways to better treat children with conditions similar to his.

Dr. Annie Zimmer is a board-certified pediatrician at Boys Town Pediatrics. She enjoys working with children and families and making sure that the kids grow into young adults with the knowledge of a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Zimmer received her medical degree from University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. "My goal is to help parents anticipate what the next steps are going to be for their kids, making parenting and family life a lot easier and more enjoyable," said Dr. Zimmer.

Dr. Yancheng Luo is a general child neurologist with a special interest in common pediatric epilepsy syndromes. He joined Boys Town National Research Hospital in 2021. Dr. Luos commitment to children and families is easy to see in his thoughtful approach to medicine. I enjoy working with children and their families. I value the importance of shared decision making and it is a privilege for me to help families navigate through difficult life and medical situations, Dr. Luo said. I take great joy and pride in helping children with neurological conditions, such as epilepsy, to achieve their potential and succeed in life.
