NEBCO s operations span the state of Nebraska and supply the construction industry with the materials needed to construct buildings, streets and highways. The company s business interests also include mining, highway and road construction, finance, real estate development, agriculture, transportation, recreation, railroading and warehousing. NEBCO Realty Group, a subsidiary of NEBCO, is responsible for the acquisition, planning and development of new properties; the leasing, property management and maintenance of all owned facilities; and the sale of real property no longer utilized by the company. George P. Abel Sr. founded NEBCO in 1908 as the Abel Construction Company.
