New studies have also appeared relating a possible link of inflammatory periodontal disease and loss of teeth to 1 ) cardiovascular disease and 2 ) pregnant mothers having pre-term low birth weight babies. Therefore, we strive to maintain the natural teeth in health and function as well as recommend replacing the missing teeth where possible with prosthesis to improve the patient's quality of life.
