Founded in 1968 in Lakeland, Fla., Red Lobster is one of the world s largest casual dining seafood restaurant companies with nearly 700 restaurants in the United States and Canada. Based in Grand Island, Neb., it offers a selection of seafood, including fresh fish, live Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp and steamed crab legs. In addition to salmon, trout and tilapia, the menu offers species, such as grouper, snapper, arctic char and mahi mahi and includes regional species, such as wall-eyed pike in the Midwest and Pacific red rockfish on the West Coast. The staff and service are on par with a national chain, the atmoshere is of "corporate" clinic. The food was again just about the same, ok, but lacking in any ability to excel in variety or...

Not much to quibble about. Nice atmosphere, good service, tasty food. Little pricey because yea, it's Red Lobster and they're supposed to be. Right?

Best seafood in grand island...wait...it's about the only seafood in grand island. It is commercialized but they put out a respectable product. Not a lot of options like this in grand island....
