Scatter Joy Acres, founded by Joy Bartling in 2006 and located in Murray, NE, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a place of rescue and a journey to peace for both animals and humans. With a new location boasting 27 acres, Scatter Joy Acres offers a public petting zoo where visitors can interact with a variety of friendly barnyard animals, as well as adopt a pet, participate in animal-assisted therapy, and be part of the Be Somebody program.

This is not a petting zoo. Most gates are locked and you have to pay lots for an "experience " if you want to touch any camels etc. And they make you walk the whole area to find out you can't...
