Chop 40 is a rustic American tavern and restaurant located in the heart of Verdi, NV. Established in 2017, it offers a comfortable and unique dining experience with house-made smoked meats, breads, sauces, eclectic foods, and a variety of drink combinations.
Founded by a Verdi local, Chop 40 was named after a bet between a father and son, where the son would have had to chop off his beard if the tavern restaurant wasn't open before he turned 40.
