Transition Services mission is to provide services for people with developmental disabilities who were not successful in other Las Vegas-based programs. In its nearly 10-year history, the company has grown to nearly five Southern Nevada locations and has expanded its services to provide fulfilling work and social experiences for more than 170 individuals each day. As a nonprofit organization, the company is committed to offering meaningful work programs that allow the people it serves to reach their highest potential in their own way. Service and program activities include cleaning, shopping for supplies, document destruction, crushing cans, making paper, creating gift cards, performing computer work, gardening, answering phones, visiting libraries and museums, making bath products, volunteering and taking walks in the park. The company is accredited by United Way of Southern Nevada. Transition Services is headquartered in Las Vegas.
