History

I recently relocated my main office to the Rancho Penasquitos area in San Diego, California. I still maintain an office in Reno, Nevada where I practiced for 25+ years.

Specialties

I am Dr. Askren, a Clinical Psychologist. My areas of specialization are with adolescents, adults and couples. I have expertise in alcoholism/addiction (addicts and their families), relationship issues, depression and stress management. My clinical experience of 25+ years along with my finely tuned intuition enables me to narrow in quickly on problems/challenges and then help you change. I integrate Mindfulness and specific tools into therapy. I also perform Psychological Evaluations and am a practitioner in Collaborative Divorce.
