Founded in 2001, Ormat Funding Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the vertically-integrated company Ormat Technologies, which deals in geothermal power business. The corporation has worked on several projects, such as Ormesa Complex, Steamboat Complex, Mammoth and Brady. Its geothermal power plants employ binary systems and flash design technologies.

ORMAT Technologies, established in 1965 and located in Reno, Nev., is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of environmentally sound energy systems. It is a multidisciplinary power technology with more than four decades experience in the design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and operation of power plants. ORMAT Technologies specializes in various projects, such as geothermal power plants, remote power units, and recovered energy generation.
