I was drawn to midwifery because I have a strong desire to help people during life transitions. I provide gentle and caring support to my patients. I want my patients to feel empowered by their interactions with the health care system. My goal is to give my patients the tools they need to take care of themselves today and in the future.

As a vascular surgeon, it’s essential to develop a strong relationship with my patients. I aim to understand their unique situations, provide education, and identify goals. Vascular surgeons reduce future risks, improve quality of life, and address dangerous diseases. We do this using lifestyle modification, medical therapy, minimally-invasive procedures, and surgery. Working together with our patients, we identify the best care plan to help them reach their goals.

As a nurse practitioner, I aim to work collaboratively with my patients to help them manage their chronic illnesses and bothersome symptoms so that they can live healthy, satisfying lives. I draw on my previous experience as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse to aid patients in their transition from acute illnesses to chronic management.
