The most rewarding aspect of my work is following patients throughout their journey. I enjoy witnessing the positive impact on their everyday life. My motivation for entering medicine stems from the deep fulfillment I experience in healing others. From initial symptoms to diagnosis and treatment. I enjoy witnessing improvement in their health and well-being. The GI specialty is particularly rewarding because the right treatment plan can enhance a patient's quality of life. Patients appreciate that I'm patient, approachable, and offer a non-judgmental view. I ensure that my patients feel heard and empowered to ask questions. I invite them to share any questions, fostering an environment of encouragement.

My journey into medicine was sparked during my time as a Navy Corpsman, where I often encountered athletic injuries. This ignited my passion for orthopedics and sports medicine. I found fulfillment in addressing musculoskeletal issues. I collaborate with my patients to craft a personalized treatment plan that suits your specific needs and preferences. Whether it's returning to sports or simply enjoying daily routines without pain, when patients are able to resume their favorite activities, I consider that a success. Witnessing this improvement brings me great satisfaction. The most rewarding aspect of my work is knowing that I've helped maintain or regain a person's quality of life. Making a positive impact on someone's well-being motivates me every day.

As a child neurologist, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to the vulnerable patients and families who trust me with their care. I focus on ensuring I meet each child’s unique healthcare needs. I use age-appropriate play and conversation to get a complete history and examination. I encourage questions from the child and their family members. I want the family to know that they’re listened to and are empowered to carry out the care plan. I feel lucky to be part of my patients’ healthcare journey, even if it’s a small part. I truly enjoy watching my patients flourish over the years, each in their own way.
