Child Health Services

Founded in 1980, Child Health Services works to improve the health and well-being of children from low-income families. The organization offers biopsychosocial health care, social and nutrition consultation services. It provides services for more than 2,000 children. The organization advocates at local, regional and national levels. Child Health Services offers treatment for acute and chronic illnesses. The organization provides routine checkup, immunization, and hearing and vision screening options. Its unit, Teen Health Clinic, offers confidential reproductive health care services. The organization in partnership with the Manchester Health Department and the Dental Alliance, serves over 150 children. In addition, it trains health care providers in the practice of biopsychosocial pediatrics. Child Health Services operates Child Development Clinic, which is an integral program that provides diagnostic assessments for children at-risk.
