Nashua Street Department, based in Nashua, N.H., oversees the improvement and maintenance of the city s streets. The department s employees perform construction projects for the betterment and extension of city systems, including road building and widening, drainage projects, landscaping and slope stabilization, sidewalk, and curb and gutter construction. The department also works to keep Nashua's streets safer by repairing potholes, snow removal and ice control during inclement winter weather and sweeping streets in the warmer seasons.
