I entered the field of cardiology for many reasons. I enjoy critical thinking and the challenge it requires. I like solving complex problems. I also enjoy interacting with patients on a personal level. I bring a patient-centered approach to medicine that allows patients to feel empowered and recognized. Shared decision-making through conversation and education is an essential aspect of medicine and at the center of my practice. I work to reduce my patients' symptoms and improve their quality of life. We perform a wide range of procedures to help patients achieve this. My primary goal is to provide safe and effective medical care for patients while respecting their wishes.

Joint pain from arthritis can have a profound impact on a patient’s quality of life. I’m here to help. I’ve dedicated my career to helping patients reduce knee and hip pain and regain their desired level of activity. I view the patient-physician relationship as a partnership and a privilege. My responsibility in this relationship is giving the patient accurate, up-to-date information about their condition and treatment options. My mission is to provide my patients with compassionate, patient-centered care that will help them achieve their goals and thrive. I’ve recently returned to the good life here in the Upper Valley after spending many years in the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley. I’ve published on many research topics over the years. I am actively researching applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence in orthopaedics.

Being diagnosed with an illness can be stressful for patients and family members alike. My goal is to provide high quality, individualized care through a patient centered approach. I have particular interests in minimally invasive and robotic cancer surgery, reconstruction of the upper urinary tract and treatment of renal stones.
