Lakes Region General Hospital is a full-service community hospital. A regional acute care facility, Lakes Region has more than 200-bed facility. Operational for more than 40 years, the hospital is a part of LRGHealthcare System. It offers a wide range of medical, surgical, psychiatric, diagnostic and therapeutic services, wellness education, support groups, and other community outreach services. The hospital employs more than 150 physicians, doctors, therapists, counselors, paraprofessionals and administrative and support staff. A level III trauma center, Lakes Region treats more than 10,000 patients annually. The hospital also offers expertise in adult and children health services, free pap tests and breast examinations, blood pressure screening, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, immunization and vaccinations, laboratory testing, physical examinations, and follow-up therapies. It has branch locations in Laconia, Belmont, Franklin and Meredith, N.H.
