Manchester Community Music School

Established in 1984, Concord Community Music School offers programs of musical instruction, performance, participation and community service. Besides individual instruction on most instruments, the school offers various classes and programs, such as early childhood music and movement, choruses and instrumental ensembles for all ages, and the Senior and Preparatory Northeast Youth Symphony Orchestra. It also offers special classes, including introduction to recording, music theory and creative composition, and hosts a season of public events with concerts, recitals, lectures, special events and workshops. Through its music in the community initiative program, the school partners with many organizations in the state to provide musical opportunities to those who would not otherwise be able to participate.
