Prior to embarking on her medical career, she worked in the laboratory of a Nobel Laureate at Columbia University, a job that culminated in publication in the prestigious journal, Nature.In recognition of her commitment to providing compassionate care, Dr. Balonze received the Dr. Robert S. Pinals Award for Humanism & Professionalism during her second year of internal medicine residency training at Rutgers RWJMS.When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Balonze enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
