Dennis Han, MD - 140 Park Avenue Gastroenterology

Dennis Han, MD is part of Summit Health's Gastroenterology team. Dr. Han specializes in gastroenterology with a special interest in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He treats a wide array of gastrointestinal conditions including diseases of the pancreas and bile ducts, Barrett's esophagus, and inflammatory bowel disease. In addition, he performs endoscopic procedures for screening and management of gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Han is extensively trained in advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic therapy for Barrett's esophagus, large colon polyp removal (endoscopic mucosal resection) and endoscopic stenting.

Dr. Han's research interests include clinical outcomes in pancreatico-biliary disease and advanced endoscopic imaging in Barrett's esophagus. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Endoscopy and Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, and he has presented at conferences across the country. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.
