E-BEAM Services is one of the leading suppliers of contract electron beam processing services, with more than 450kW of installed accelerator capacity, which is enough to process nearly 1 billion pounds of material annually. Electron beam processing effectively and efficiently creates useful changes in material properties and performance, such as polymer crosslinking and chain scissioning. E-BEAM processing is also widely used for medical device sterilization, cosmetics sterilization and pharmaceutical sterilization. Based in Cranbury, N.J., E-BEAM was incorporated in 1985 to acquire the radiation service division of a subsidiary of Monsanto. E-BEAM is a privately owned corporation with nearly 50 employees.
