The Latino Institute, Inc. is a private, non-profit, charitable organization. Our mission is to serve as a bridge between the Latino community, and the educational, cultural, governmental, social and economic institutions of society by providing accurate, factual, and timely information on the barriers and challenges affecting the education, growth, development and well-being of that community and by developing, recommending, and advocating solutions and actions which may serve as a catalyst for change. Our particular interest is educational achievement for Latinos throughout the educational continuum and the promotion of Latino culture in America. We believe, as many reasonable people believe, that educational achievement is the key to success in life. At the same time, we believe in respecting, fostering and promoting the Latino cultural heritage, especially amongst our young, as part of the development of Latinos everywhere. In the educational pathway, we are uniquely interested in college retention issues and the promotion of college Latino students towards graduate schools, Ph.D. programs and the professions. We promote these tenets through major events, conference, seminars, lectures, workshops, performances, programs, and other activities. The Latino Institute, Inc. offers services and programs on a statewide basis in the State of New Jersey, and has a national presence via its special events.

The Center for Communications Research in Princeton performs applied mathematical and computational research in cryptology and related disciplines. Mathematics CCR-P conducts mathematical research supporting the twin tasks facing cryptologists: cryptography and cryptanalysis. Mathematics remains the fundamental science used to create and analyze the complex algorithms used to encipher vulnerable communications. Virtually every branch of pure and applied mathematics has proved to be useful in these efforts. For example, techniques from the geometry of algebraic curves provide better methods for detecting and correcting errors in data transmission. Even where no explicit mathematics is involved, the mathematical mode of thinking seems to be ideally suited to cryptologic problems. Each summer, CCR-P runs an intensive ten-week summer conference on applied mathematical problems ( SCAMP ). The conference concentrates on a problem area in cryptology. Some 20-25 academic mathematicians are invited to join with our research staff for these conferences. The visitors are a very strong group of research mathematicians ranging in age from undergraduates to emeritus professors. In recent years, we have made a particular effort to include some undergraduate and/or graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding talent.

The Witherspoon Institute is an independent research center located in Princeton, New Jersey, dedicated to exploring the intersection of ancient and Judeo-Christian traditions with contemporary moral and ethical issues. Through academic seminars and programs for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, the Institute aims to foster deep discussions about fundamental questions concerning human life, governance, and societal structures. Additionally, the Witherspoon Institute supports various initiatives, such as Canavox, which promotes traditional marriage values, and Public Discourse, a platform for scholarly contributions. By encouraging research among emerging scholars and developing future leaders, the Institute seeks to significantly influence cultural discourse surrounding the core pillars of a healthy society.
