In the early 1990's, his two sons, Matthew, an architect, and Richard, an engineer, joined the firm and began to transform it into a general practice of architectural services. Irwin Kizel, an architect and professional planner with vast building experience, joined the firm shortly thereafter. In March of 2000, to mark the Firm's 25th anniversary and to show its pride in their work, the principals changed the Firm's name to Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, Inc Today, Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, Inc is one of the largest, full-service architectural and engineering firms in New Jersey. In 1998, the Firm added a full-service engineering department, which allows it to handle virtually all aspects of both the architectural and engineering components of buildings.
