Interfaith Neighbors

Founded in 1988, Interfaith Neighbors is a nonprofit corporation that provides rental subsidy to underprivileged people. The corporation works with more than 90 religious congregations, corporations, foundations and charitable trusts. Interfaith Neighbors offers meal services to more than 4,000 senior citizens annually. Its home ownership program provides housing opportunities to low-and moderate- income families. Interfaith Neighbors plan improves community and recreational facilities, public space and infrastructure, and social conditions and public safety. It undertakes the construction, rehabilitation and operation of houses and shelters. Interfaith Neighbors works with the New Jersey's Youth Corps program, which engages people in community service projects, job skills and education. The corporation is located in Asbury Park, N.J.
