Northeast Mountain Guiding

Northeast Mountain Guiding (NMG) is one of the largest outdoor education facilities in the Eastern United States with 35,000+ clients/students annually. NMG offers guiding and instructional courses for rock climbing, backpacking, kayaking, mountaineering, ice climbing and various other outdoor sports. NMG employs some of the most highly trained professionals in the outdoor education industry with a main focus on the rock and trail based disciplines. They have been a huge part in introducing the Mountain Leader program into the United States as well as forming and training several Wilderness Search & Rescue teams in areas where they previously didn't exist. NMG currently has 150+ outdoor guides/instructors with 50% of that in the Northeast region of the United States. This company is owned and operated by Joseph Vulpis, Erin Beach and Matt Novellino.
