Rachael Hartman, MD is a member of Summit Health's Dermatology team. Dr. Hartman is a board-certified dermatologist practicing both medical and cosmetic dermatology for both children and adults. Her areas of interest include acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, and cosmetic dermatology.

To help her patients achieve their most natural-looking results, Dr. Hartman combines injectable treatments such as Botox and fillers with the latest non-invasive procedures, including microneedling and lasers to treat acne scarring, rosacea, unwanted hair, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles.

In addition to her position at Summit Health, Dr. Hartman serves as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where she teaches pediatric dermatology to residents.

Dr. Hartman served as Chief Resident during her residency training at New York University. During this time, her work was published in several prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Before she became a physician, Dr. Hartman worked on the business side of health care for several world-renowned companies including McKinsey & Company, Goldman Sachs, and Genentech. In fact, it was her work at Goldman Sachs researching the new biologics class of medications for psoriasis that sparked her interest in dermatology.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Hartman lives in Florham Park with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling around the world, being outdoors (with sunscreen, of course!), and baking.
