Mital Patel-Cohen, MD is part of Summit Healths Dermatology department. Dr. Patel-Cohen is a highly experienced dermatologist who has dedicated her career to high quality patient care, clinical innovation, and research in auto-inflammatory diseases. Her areas of expertise include complex medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology (lasers, fillers, neuromodulators). Dr. Patel-Cohen is a widely respected national expert in the areas of psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa and has made countless contributions to research by publishing over twenty papers in major dermatology journals. She has been an invited speaker at numerous local, regional, national and international meetings. Additionally, she has directed several sessions at the American Academy of Dermatology and has served as a Co-Director for the Interdisciplinary Autoimmune Summit.Dr. Patel-Cohen completed her internship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident of her program and was voted Resident of the Year at King's County Hospital. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Dermatology-Rheumatology at Brigham and Women's Medical Center followed by The Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education at the Shapiro Institute for Education and Research at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Patel-Cohen was an attending physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. While at Harvard Medical School, she helped to develop the new and innovative pathway curriculum for first and second year medical students. She was the founder and director of Brigham and Women's Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Neutrophilic Dermatoses Clinic and their Dermatology-Gastroenterology multidisciplinary clinic. She also served as the assistant program director for the dermatology-rheumatology fellowship, which allowed her to mentor and train numerous dermatology residents and fellows. Additionally, she spent considerable time teaching dermatology residents surgery, cosmetic lasers, and injections.When she is not working, Dr. Patel-Cohen enjoys traveling, reading for pleasure, running and most importantly spending time with her friends and family.

Calvin Natanzon, MD, specializes in neurology, with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders. He has a special interest in epilepsy research and high power nuclear magnetic resonance imaging of the brain. He also has extensive experience in the neuromuscular application of Botox for various neurological disorders ranging from hemifacial spasms and migraines to upper motor neuron disorders. Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Natanzon practiced in Westchester, NY.

Peter Hyans, MD, FACS, is Medical Director of the Plastic Surgery Center and Chair of the Department of Surgical Specialties at Summit Health. He also is a founding board member for Curmonos a nonprofit organization that supports underserved women with breast cancer.A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Hyans has 25 years of experience in plastic surgery. His expertise includes facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and cosmetic, reconstructive and revision breast surgery. Dr. Hyans also specializes in nonsurgical techniques with Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Kybella, SculptraTM, Fraxel, Cellfina, Ultherapy and CoolSculpting. He is the author or coauthor of articles concerning plastic and reconstructive surgery, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals and popular regional lifestyle magazines. In addition, he is a contributing author for the book, Be Your Best: A Comprehensive Guide to Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which offers patients expert advice on all aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery.
