Maplewood Municipal Building is a part of Maplewood Township. Based in Maplewood, N.J., the municipal building department ensures health, welfare and safety of the people. The building committee adopted, Rental Registration Ordinance, Construction Code Enforcement and Certificate of Continued Use and Occupancy programs. The Building Department consists of three main groups of enforcement duties, such as Construction Code Enforcement, Property Maintenance Code and Zoning Regulation Administration and Enforcement. It offers services, which includes inspection, plumbing, emergency repairs, electric, fire testing service, exterior/interior painting, roofing, propane tanks, gas piping, gutter inspection and beyond.
