In 1993, at the age of 29 Uri set out on what may be an impossible task for some; he built a house from the ground up. It took ingenuity, determination, and leadership to take a simple plot of land and create a home. Surrounded by the outcome of his labor, he found his calling. His eldest recalls the project, I remember touching the pile of wet cement when he started the foundation, its remarkable to think at that age (5) that a person could do so much with their hands but there it was; roof reaching for the sky-a house.Since then he spent many years learning, honing, and practicing his craft through this new career.
