Whitehouse Preparatory School

History

Judith L. Serra is the founder of Whitehouse Preparatory School. After teaching kindergarten and first grade in Hillsborough and Readington Township Schools, she decided to open a preschool that would offer young children an educational program that would give her students as much as she possibly could educationally to lay an educational foundation that would lead them to many years of success. The full day classes here at Whitehouse Prep include Violin Instruction, Conflict Resolution, Chinese Classes, Music Class twice a week, Acting, Art, P.E., as well as academic instruction in literacy.math,science and social studies. Since the school's opening these programs have been a part of the regular school day and included in the tuition. The alumni that have graduated from Whitehouse Prep and gone off to private schools like Pingry, Far Hills Country Day, Gill St. Bernards and Princeton Day School as well as public schools. They have performed at the top of their classes.

Specialties

Whitehouse Prep is a school for children ages 2 1/2 to 6. We offer half and full day programs. Our teachers are the heart of the school and they are professionals with degrees in Early Childhood Education. Our Head of School, Judith Serra, is a teacher and she designed the curriculum based upon her 30+ years of teaching. Whitehouse Prep is a gem of a preschool where the students get the best preschool experience in the area.
