Hodgin Elementary School is affiliated with Albuquerque Public Schools, one of the largest school districts in the United States. The school offers academic programs in grades prekindergarten through five and has an enrollment of more than 550 students. It teaches a variety of subjects, such as English, math, science, reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary, social studies, and special and physical education. The school maintains a parent-teacher organization and student council. Its facility includes a cafeteria, library media center, computer lab, and art and music room.
