Gideons International is a global organization dedicated to making the word of God accessible to all, with a history dating back to 1908 when it began as an association of Christian businessmen placing Bibles in hotel rooms. Today, they have distributed over 2 billion scriptures in more than 95 languages to 200 countries, territories, and possessions worldwide. Rooted in tradition but open to all who wish to join their cause, Gideons International focuses on not only distributing scriptures but also personal witnessing and uniting believers for service in spreading the gospel.
