His grandfather immigrated from Poland in the early 1900s with only a backpack to his name and began peddling. A general store soon opened. Three generations later, the family company became one of the largest food service companies in the U.S. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Ricky has maintained his Midwestern family values and work ethic. Ricky and his wife, Cathy, have traveled the world near and far, yet have found no place as magical as Santa Fe. They have a beautiful horse ranch in Santa Fe where they ride and train Peruvian Paso horses. Ricky has spent three winters at Vail Ski Resort, giving skiers the ultimate customer service and providing guided ski tours of the mountain. He also loves road biking, swimming, racquetball and squash.
