Wheels Museum is a nonprofit museum dedicated to preserving the City of Albuquerque's and the State of New Mexico's historic buildings at the Rail Yard, historic documents, historic vehicles, historic items related to transportation and other historic objects/items. We provide education to the public, including children so they can learn about Albuquerque's and New Mexico's history and heritage. We do not have an entrance fee because we want to make the Wheels Museum accessible to all people and we have a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. We appreciate donations to continue our work to preserve history. The Museum is available for private events. Please contact Leba at the Wheels Museum. In addition to our regular hours, we open during the Rail Yard Market on Sundays from 10am to 2pm.

This is a hidden gem museum! The volunteers are so nice and there are lots of cool exhibits. There is an awesome mural outside too. It's free but definitely donate to keep them open!
