Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the unique and diverse architectural heritage of New York State's Adirondack region. Since its formation in 1990, AARCH has been actively promoting public understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of the region's architectural treasures, including Great Camps, rustic buildings, homes, farmsteads, churches, commercial buildings, and transportation-related structures. With over 800 engaged members, AARCH works tirelessly to protect and celebrate the rich history and cultural significance of the Adirondacks.

Headquartered in the historic town of Keeseville, AARCH occupies a former office building of the Ausable Horse Nail Company, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The organization's headquarters also include a research library, gallery space, and a residential apartment. AARCH is committed to community engagement and has undertaken projects such as the creation of a public waterfront park along the Ausable River. With its dedication to preservation and education, AARCH plays a vital role in safeguarding the architectural heritage of the Adirondack region for future generations.

Kidsafe Collaborative

The mission of the KidSafe Collaborative is to engage agencies, community groups and individuals to work together to improve our community's response to child abuse and neglect. The KidSafe Collaborative strengthens services and fosters cross-system collaboration among human services agencies and the criminal justice system to improve results for child victims of abuse and neglect and their families. KidSafe Collaborative works to improve the safety and well-being of children in Chittenden County by enhancing collaboration among more than 25 partners involved in community child protection and safety. The goals of the KidSafe Collaborative are two-fold: During our last fiscal year ending this past March, KidSafe directly supported over 350 children and families in Vermont and indirectly helped hundreds more through work with our partners. The key element to which we attribute our success has been our ability to establish a community expectation that cross-systems collaboration is the best way to address child abuse and neglect and to serve families.
