Alzheimer's Association

Founded in 1926, the Long Island Association is one of the largest and most influential business organizations in Long Island, N.Y. The association comprises of more than 4,500 business, labor, educational, public, nonprofit and civic organizations. The Long Island Association s mission is to improve the development of the region and bring together disparate factions within the community to forge regional solutions. It also acts an umbrella business organization that provides products and services designed to assist the growth of businesses large and small businesses. The association s division includes the Long Island Better Business Bureau, Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, Long Island Housing Partnership and LIA Health Alliance. The Long Island Association is located in Melville, N.Y.
