Barbara Gredysa, M.D.

Alexandra Peck is originally from the east end of Long Island. She studied at Stony Brook University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where she completed a one-year accelerated nursing program. She started her career in Emergency Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center while attending school to become a nurse practitioner. She graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and earned a Master of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has particular interests in the prevention and treatment of Diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity medicine and helping her patients achieve optimal wellness and health. She is an active member in the American Diabetes Association as well as the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists.

Dr. Alexis P. Melnick is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) of Weill Cornell Medical College. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Basis of Behavior and Hispanic Studies Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. She went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Melnick is a board-certified Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.Dr. Melnick offers patients a full range of reproductive services in her practice including ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, fertility preservation, oocyte donation and treatment of reproductive endocrinopathies and recurrent miscarriage, and menopause. She is also a skilled surgeon, performing a variety of minimally-invasive surgical techniques for treatment of endometrial and ovarian disorders.Dr. Melnick has received numerous awards for her clinical excellence and surgical expertise including the Frederick C. Holden Award for Excellence in Obstetrics & Gynecology (NYU) and the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery Award (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists). In addition, she is a prolific researcher and contributor to the literature, having authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Suzanne Pastore is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Rochester in 1991 and her Medical Doctorate from Albany Medical College in 1995. She completed her residency at Franklin Square Hospital, a John’s Hopkins affiliate, in 1999. During her residency she received awards for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures, Top Senior Resident in Colposcopy, and Resident of the Year.Dr. Pastore started practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Manhattan in 1999 in private practice. In 2002 she joined Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital as faculty where she helped teach students and resident doctors. In addition to her practice here in New York, she has done charitable medical missionary work in Jamaica with the Christian Medical and Dental Society, St. Lucia with Catholic Medical Missions, Nicaragua with the University of Texas at Galveston’s Family Practice Department and El Salvador with Helping Hands Medical Missions.Dr. Pastore is currently practicing Gynecology, which includes well woman preventative exams, contraception, and family planning as well as management of gynecology conditions such as abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, and treatment of menopausal symptoms. She is a certified menopause provider through the Menopause Society. She also has a special interest in gynecologic ultrasound and is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
