Bay Shore-Brightwaters Library has been operating for more than 100 years in Brightwaters, N.Y. The library conducts computer classes for students in grades three through eight. In addition, it organizes various family activities and programs. Bay Shore-Brightwaters Library has a reading club that offers a summer reading program for students, adults, children, teenagers and youths. The library also conducts fitness classes for senior citizens. It has a collection of books and audiovisual materials for the youth of its community . Bay Shore-Brightwaters Library offers a range of materials, including reference, fiction and nonfiction books; and videocassettes; and audiobooks.
