History

Bluestone Veterinary Services was created to fill a need in the Northern Hudson Valley for an ambulatory veterinarian focused on small ruminant and camelid care. After spending two years practicing in Wisconsin and a year working at a mixed animal veterinary hospital in New South Wales, Australia, Dr. Ferguson, who was born and raised in Red Hook, is glad to be back in her hometown. In a start-up year amidst a faltering economy, she remains optimistic that her endeavors will blossom into a sustainable, thriving practice working with the animals and people she cares so much about.
