Charles Lucas Kranz Myerson, MD

C. Lucas Myerson, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the comprehensive care of shoulder and elbow disorders, including arthritis, rotator cuff pathology, and complex shoulder instability.Dr. Myerson received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Award. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania, serving as Academic Chief Resident and receiving the DeForest P. Willard Award for Outstanding Senior Resident. He went on to complete his fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital.As a member of several professional organizations, Dr. Myerson has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national conferences. His research interests include optimizing outcomes in rotator cuff repair, computer-assisted navigation in shoulder arthroplasty, and strategies for managing complex shoulder instability.
