Dr. Dobri received her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and spent three years of endocrinology residency in Romania before completing her internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She completed an endocrinology fellowship in pituitary and adrenal disorders at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, and Associate Staff in the Cleveland Clinic Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, where she took care of high-complexity patients in her pituitary and adrenal clinics.

Dr. Ranjini Srinivasan is the director of the cross-sectional imaging program at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian. She completed her cardiology fellowship at Columbia & Cornell University/New York Presbyterian Hospital, before completing a two-year fellowship in advanced imaging at the National Institutes of Health. She served as the fetal cardiology director at NYU prior to joining us at Weill Cornell.She is one of our imaging experts, and specializes in echocardiography, fetal cardiology, and cross-sectional imaging (MRI and CT). She has a research interest in fetal cardiology and magnetic resonance imaging and exploring how imaging can help improve outcomes for our most vulnerable patients. When she is not busy with her clinical responsibilities at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three girls.

Amer Assal MD is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist who specializes in the use of autologous and allogeneic bone marrow stem cell transplantation for the treatment of multiple myeloma, leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes and other bone marrow disorders. Dr. Assal completed his medical education and internal medicine training at NYU School of Medicine. He was also a hospitalist in the department of medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center caring for patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses, including stem cell transplant patients. Dr. Assal completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he also served as chief fellow. He finally completed a fellowship in blood and marrow stem cell transplantation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His research interests center around improving outcomes of stem cell transplantation and the diseases it is used to treat. He has a particular interest in immunotherapy and studying ways to harness the immune system to attack tumor cells, while at the same time decreasing the risk of graft versus host disease. He is also interested in studying therapeutic interventions to prevent and treat relapse of disease after stem cell transplantation. He has presented his research at several national conferences and was awarded an American Society of Hematology Abstract Achievement award for his research.
