HistoryI started my original dogwalking and petsitting service in the Fort Greene / Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn where I lived. I had many years of of loyal clients and had long term dogs and cats I grew very fond of and spent years walking and caring for them. My partner Steve moved in with me 2013 and already had an established dogwalking business located in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan he has owned for 17 years. We eventually moved to the lovely Upper East Side in late 2016 and began the process about 6 months ago of transitioning our pet care business to our new location. HistoryThe Founder of Canine's Kingdom, Antonio Barnes grew up in the Caribbean Island of Jamaica. While growing up he had german shepherds as his pets and his love grew for dogs over the years. He moved to NYC and realized that he wanted to work with dogs. He started to work at doggy gyms and resorts in manhattan and realized that most of these companies do not practice what they preach. They advertised individualized care, but he realized that these company was about money first and care not even second, but last. He wanted to change this and he came up with Canine's Kingdom.SpecialtiesCanine's Kingdom is specialized in dog walking, dog training, pet sitting and more. What makes us special? We video record our walks and send them to our clients so they can see the amount of fun their dog is having and to also give them a peace of mind. We believe in individualized care and that is why we do not pack walk.
