Is it a normal practice for the kid at the door to ask for a $20 cover at 11pm, we have been there numerous times and dont remember ever being charged a cover

This place was so much fun and unique! This place is newly renovated on the inside and changed up. Apparently, it used to be like a dance club, but the new owner wanted to tone it down a little...
