Dr. Eugene Lucas is a specialist in Obesity Medicine and Clinical Informatics. Dr. Lucas completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and an Obesity Medicine Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College. During his training, Dr. Lucas developed an interest in leveraging technology to improve patient care and the clinician experience. To this end, he also completed a fellowship in Clinical Informatics at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Lucas splits his time between providing weight management and longevity guidance to patients and serving as Assistant Medical Director of Clinical Information Services.

Her expertise includes the full spectrum of pediatric pulmonary conditions, with special expertise in Severe Asthma, Patient Education, Quality Improvement, Flexible Bronchoscopy, and Aerodigestive disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tsirilakis is involved in research and education. She has several research interests spanning Quality Improvement Initiatives, Asthma Education Programs, Health Care Disparities, Telehealth programs, and Pathophysiologic and Inflammatory Mechanisms of Asthma. Dr. Tsirilakis is also active in community engagement, working closely with St. Mary’s Home Care Program and the NYP Queens Community Health Worker Program . She is Chairperson of the American Lung Association’s Asthma Coalition of New York City, and serves as faculty in their Asthma Educator Institute. She is also lead faculty advisor on the New York State Department of Health’s BREATHE-NY asthma education program. She is fluent in Modern Greek and conversational in Spanish.
