I did not receive a foster agreement or an emergency contact, which I learned afterwards are supposed to be standard. I wish that I had a positive experience for my first time fostering. Kudos...

Seek another animal rescue organization. Gimme Shelter is unprofessional, unresponsive and ultimately made their decision without a phone call or reference check. Those who truly want to help...
